Spicy fish with green mango salad and seafood dressing
The cuisine ranges from Yunnan and Sichuan in China to Thailand and Vietnam. Kick off with the Thai Grilled fish. Chunky Basa pieces are dressed with ginger, garlic and bird eye chilli whose racy accents ignite a little fire in the mouth. The innocuous looking dim sums in translucent cases pack a punch with the ginger. The result is a tickled palate and a clean plate sent back to the kitchen. The Vietnamese Fried rice which comes wrapped in a lotus leaf is fragrant and delicious. For desserts try the mud cake which shares its plate with a scoop of ice cream. It’s a pleasant match. Almost every bite tastes like one of the best you’ve ever had … until you get the next celestial dish and the bar is raised anew.
